Q: Why is your name "Evian?"
A: Well, for starters, it's not my real name (someone actually asked me this-lol). My nickname is Evian because my favorite Pokemon is Eevee, along with its evolutions.
Q: Do these codes REALLY work?
A: YES, they really work. I've tested them all, and they worked perfectly for me.
Q: Are these codes safe to use?
A: As long as you follow the simple instructions, yes, they are.
Q: What do I do if a code freezes my game?
A: It shouldn't happen, but if it does, the only thing you CAN do is shut off your game and pray it doesn't corrupt your data. As stated before, it shouldn't happen, so there shouldn't be any reason to worry. Also, never save in the Mystery Zone. It's dangerous to do that.
Q: HELP! The codes aren't working for me?
A: Double check to make sure you entered the code into your Action Replay exactly as it is on the site. Sometimes you may leave a number out or click the wrong one. Use the correct triggers (and at the right time, if specified).
Q: Isn't cheating bad?
A: Normally yes. But if you spend the extra money for an Action Replay, it doesn't really matter. It isn't illegal to cheat on games, but some cheats (such as going over the max stat limit, or having a Spiritomb that knows Wonder Guard) will get you banned from the online community. All cheats on this site are okay to use online and off.
Q: Can I have your Friend ID for battling and trading?
A: No. I don't give that out to just anyone.
Q: What is PokeSav?
A: PokeSav is a cheating application for Diamond, Pearl and Platinum that allows you to modify .sav data, change your character's attributes, hack your Pokemon, etc. Unlike the "safe" cheats presented on this site, PokeSav can damage your game file if not used properly. And, unless you copy and paste the code directly into your Action Replay via a computer, the Pokemon hacks created on PokeSav will most likely result in a bad egg (which cannot be deleted unless you turn it into something else). Some codes can also corrupt your data permanently, so use extreme caution when using. In short, I'd recommend not using it, unless you really know what you're doing, or are playing a ROM.
Q: I used the Pokemon Modifier code for Platinum. When I encountered the wild Pokemon, there was nothing there?
A: That was a common problem with the original code. The new code, which I have posted, should work flawlessly. However, this can still occur if you don't hold R until the encounter. In other words, DON'T release it until the battle begins. Another thing to remember is to not hold L when you hit clear on the calculator. This can also lead to an "invisible" Pokemon.
