This is the REAL Pokemon Modifier for Pokemon Platinum, and it's 100 percent guaranteed to work--so long as you follow the instructions EXACTLY as they are written.

It's a lot simpler than the modifier for Diamond and Pearl. All you need is the Calculator App. for the Poketch for it to work.

Step One: Enter the code into your Action Replay exactly as it is written. Start the game.

Step Two: Go to the Calculator Application on your Poketch.

Step Three: Near a patch of grass, type the National Pokedex number of the Pokemon you wish to catch. For instance, type in 151 for Mew. Then press L, release, and hit clear.

Step Four: Type in the level of the Pokemon you wish to catch, such as a level 5 Mew. Type in "5," then hold R. While holding R, walk into the grass until you encounter a wild Pokemon. If done correctly, it should be a level 5 Mew.

*Note: This code deactivates when you leave the area (such as enter another route, city, or cave, or fly somewhere).
